Junior setter Morgan Fox in game action. This week she became the first two-time winner of "Athlete of the Week."
The junior volleyball player helped the Lady Pilots go 3-1 with a second-place finish in the Aquinas/Cornerstone Classic on Oct. 26-27. Fox had 90 assists to go along with 25 kills as well as 10 aces and 37 digs. Fox has been a solid performer for the volleyball team all season long, and she has helped lead them to a 22-11 record. “I feel so honored to be a two-time ‘Athlete of the Week’ and I am thankful for (those who took) the time to vote for me,” said Fox. The Bethel College “Athlete of the Week” segment is designed so students may vote for the best athlete from the previous week. Nominees are posted by Natalie Young, the sports information director at Bethel College, each week on Thursday. These can be viewed under the Athletic Announcements tab on your myBethel page. Voting ends every Sunday night, and winners are posted on the Beacon every Wednesday. This week’s nominees are:
  • Justin Nelson, Men’s Cross Country
  • Laura Johnson, Women’s Basketball
  • Ryan Benner, Men’s Basketball
Make sure to vote this week and don’t forget to check back in on the Beacon to see who won!
